Community Choir
A Song for the Commonwealth
To coincide with the lighting of our Beacon, we need a community choir to sing this unique ’Song for the Commonwealth,’ the winner of a Commonwealth-wide song competition organised over the last few months, filling the world with the sound of music and song in celebration of this special moment in The Queen’s life.
Rehearsals
Three rehearsals session in May are available led by Choirmaster Matthew Roughley from The Sale Youth Choir.

Performance
When: On 2nd June 2022 at 9:45pm to coincide with the lighting of the Queen's Platinum Jubilee Beacon
Where: Carrington Recreation Field, Manchester Road, Carrington, M31 4BX
