As part of the celebrations for the Queen's Platinum Jubilee, Carrington Parish Council were successful in bidding for an Art Council grant to host a series of free community arts activities
These activities and workshops have been funded through an Arts Council grant
Free Percussion workshops for Children
Limited to 20 places on each session
Suitable for age range 5 to 16

Free Pottery class
Contemporary hand building pottery classes where you can chill out and create something beautiful.

A group of 10 people attended the class on 15th May at the Partington Community Centre.
Positive feedback was received from everyone and those who missed the class want to know when the next one is.
The finished 'Works of Art' will be on display during the evening of the Jubilee Beacon event.
