Development of Phase 2 is on hold at present until Trafford Council and the Environment Agency are satisfied with the remediation of the PFAS contamination in the ground. PFAS is a bi-product of Firefighting activity when using a foam suppressant and not the result of the previous Shell Chemical activities.
